Travel Stories - Massage Training in the Jungles of Belize - Life
The Maya ruled what is now Guatemala, El Salvador, southern Mexico, Honduras and Belize. Belize is a multi-ethnic country. The people are Mestizo, descendants of Spanish and Maya marriages; Afro-Creole, descendants of African and Maya marriages; Maya; and Garifuna or Black Carib, descendants of marriages between African and Caribbean, the original inhabitants of Belize. Bowen Therapy - Benefits
In most cases a Bowen Therapy treatment produces rapid and lasting results. Benefits are usually apparent within two, or three sessions, even when long-standing conditions are being treated. Bowen Therapy is completely safe and appropriate for everyone from the chronically ill to the highly conditioned athlete, from the elderly to the newborn baby. There are few contraindications for using the Bowen technique. The technique is gentle and noninvasive and can be performed through clothing.

Bowen Therapy - Conditions That Benefit From Bowen Treatments
Most acute conditions (90%) respond to Bowen treatments within 2-3 sessions (you begin to feel results) and resolve in 3-5 sessions (relief of your symptoms). Most results are long-lasting or permanent. Periodic follow-up treatments are recommended for general health maintenance. Chronic, long standing conditions respond to Bowen treatments within 2-3 sessions, but may take longer to resolve for long-lasting relief of symptoms!
