Creativity Isn't Just About Art It Is About Healing
Go on, pick up a pen, hold it in your hand and ask, “ What can you do for me?”
What do you hear? If you listen with your heart you may hear “ I can show you a world within that only you and I can explore! Let’s start writing and see what we can find.”

Creativity and Society
What is creativity? Have you ever heard someone say that person is creative? Do we really understand what a creative person is? Some of those we call creative do not see themselves as creative? Others we do not see as creative may actually be? We do not consider people who are smart creative, yet someone who is creative could also theoretically be a smart individual.

Writing for Maximum Creativity: Think You're Creative? Try This!
An online survey was done to determine the most popular fairy tales of all time. You’re familiar with all the winners. They’re some of your and my favorites. But let’s show some creativity shall we? How about a few twists in the plots to make the story less predictable? How about a unique twist or change in the ending, characters, intent, personality or plot? It’s been done before. For example, “Little Red Riding Hood, first published in 1697 by Charles Perrault as a warning to errant ladies in the court of Louis XIV, has undergone a series of metamorphoses including one by the Grimm Brothers in 1812, before arriving at its present-day version. So pick one, two or more, put your thinking (and writer) cap on, free your muse and allow your creativity full reign. Why should H.C. Anderson, Mother G., that Barrie fellow and those Grimm brothers have all the fun?

Are You Working on Your Masterpiece?
Have you ever thought about your career or the work you do as art...as a form of personal creative expression? We can easily summon an image of the painter, sculptor, musician, writer or inventor in their studio, engaged in the wonderful process of creating a masterpiece.
Try applying this analogy to you and the work you do. Your career...past, present and future is a canvas upon which you are painting, a block of stone upon which you are chiselling. The work you do, the life you lead, are the works of art that you create.

Expand Your Creativity and Make Yourself Smarter Using these 8 Strategies
Scientists know, but can’t explain exactly how the process works, but if you study mathematics, your musical ability improves. If you read extensively your ability to develop new physical skills or artistic abilities is augmented. This being so, we can therefore literally make ourselves “smarter” by increasing the quantities of inter-connections in our brain. But how exactly do we go about improving our mental ability? By strengthening one or more areas of our brain which are lesser developed. Here are six of the nine strongest “intelligences” and how they influence personality, character and ability.
