This article goes out to this generation of teenagers who think that being cool means smoking dope, hanging out with their drug-taking friends, having promiscuous sex, and being defiant to authority figures like teachers, police, and yes-parents. This behavior is not cool but rather dopey. You see, before long you will be entering the real world, and the real world does not take particularly well to defiance or irresponsible attitudes. Enter the world expecting it to give you freebies just because you deserve them and you will soon be wishing you listened to your parents and acted more square than cool.

As leaders will we be persuaded and polarized by skin color? Character, inner values, and one's life direction are far more important. When evaluating and assessing future employees and co-workers, it is vital that we take an inventory into what really matters and not be sidetracked by race.
