Letting Go and Forgiving

One way people ruin their chances for happiness is by holding on to resentments, anger, and rage.

Epiphany

Recently, I wrote an article that I thought was phenomenal. It covered a topic I felt very passionate about, and it seemed like the time was right to share my thoughts with the world. I sent the article to few of my friends and, to my surprise, received a very negative response across the board. As I read their comments, I became very defensive and even more judgmental. Who were they to question my opinion on this important subject? Couldn’t they tell I was right? And besides, writing a blog on regular basis isn’t easy. I don’t see any of them doing it!

It seems that we always have to trade one priority for another to accomplish our daily tasks.

The Power of Gratitude

We automatically think that we are under attack, and someone is out “to get us”. When in all actuality, there is more to the cause and effect then we can truly grasp.

The Battle Against Subtle Enemies

The Worst Yetzer Hara- Parshas Korach

When we forget about how precious we are and start believing we are bad, we become bad. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. When we feel bad about ourselves, it can lead to depression. That depression is often anger turned inward, frustration with ourselves or others that we suppress, and comes out sideways in conflict.

Surviving Emotional Quicksand—A Positive Thinker’s Guide to Handling the Down Days

A Better Life in Seven Easy Steps

We've discussed how and why we think, feel, react, process and behave the way we do. We've looked at creating change from an emotional, psychological and spiritual perspective, now we need to roll up our sleeves and move from the theoretical to the practical. Here's my 7-Step Positive Change Model:

You Can If You Think You Can!

When I am in the deepest valley of problems, trials, sadness, and inferiorities, I'll always recall these words again and again to myself, when you are at your weakest, God is in His greatest. So don't worry, be happy! You can if you think you can!

Staying Focused

By now, most of us know what we really want out of life. Yet, for some reason most of us don’t do much about it. As we get older, our priorities change, and I have found that taking the time to write down what’s most important can help to see the bigger picture -- and usually a clearer one, too.
